Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler says he is thriving under pressure as his side race towards a top-four finish in the Premier League.

The Seagulls travel to Man City on Saturday on the back of four successive wins and are looking to break their best winning run in the top flight since 1981, when they went five in a row.

“Honestly, I like the pressure, so I always find ways to deal with it,” said the youngest manager in the Premier League.

“I never feel pressure from the team owner or from outside because I put pressure on myself. In the end, the biggest pressure is on myself because I am the one who demands the most.”

“I want the best for the club, which is to be successful. We do this through our daily behaviour, pushing our limits every day and getting the best out of the team. Then we will see where we finish this season.

“I have a lot of faith in this team that we can achieve something because we have good unity in the team,”

“We have players with individual potential and that gives credibility to the whole club.”
