Juventus are set to sign Newcastle United defender Lloyd Kelly on a permanent deal. After he met his game-time requirement in order to buy.

Kelly joined Newcastle United on a free transfer last summer. But only made 14 appearances in all competitions before being snapped up by Juve.

The 26-year-old initially joined the Turin side on loan, but there was a clause in the deal to make the move permanent if he met a certain number of appearances.

This is a modern Juventus move: pragmatic, strategic, and subtly timed. “Kelly was ready to impose himself outside of the Premier League,” คาสิโนออนไลน์ UFABET ฝากถอนรวดเร็ว เริ่มต้นเล่นง่าย sources close to the negotiation have stated. And Juventus responded accordingly, triggering the purchase clause not with noise, but with quiet assurance.

Kelly has now made 13 appearances for the Bianconeri since joining. And that clause has now been triggered.

They paid a €3m loan fee for Kelly and will pay a further €14.5m to make it permanent. The total fee is believed to be around €17.5m (£14.8m),

with a further €6.5m (£5.5m) in add-ons depending on performance-related conditions.

Kelly is currently struggling with a muscle injury and is unlikely to be available for the Lazio game, having also missed the previous game at Bologna.
